Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through the joliestudio.it website, why we process it and what rights you can exercise. We handle your data with care and only as far as it is needed to provide you with our services.

2. What data we collect

• Data you send us through the contact form: the name and email address you enter, together with the content of the message. The form opens your email program and sends the message to info@joliestudio.it: the data does not pass through any archive on the site.
• Client data in the private area: the information relating to your project (business name, email address, preferences indicated in the brief form), needed to carry out and show you the work.
• Technical browsing data: the server records technical data such as the IP address, the browser type, the date and time of the request, for security reasons and for the proper functioning of the site.
• Aggregate visit statistics: on this site and on the sites of clients who entrust their monitoring to us we use our own statistics tool, without cookies and without profiling. We collect only aggregate and non-identifying data (page visited, referring site, device type, language, country estimated from the browser's time zone). We do not store the IP address in clear form: to count the day's unique visitors we use a derived code (a non-reversible hash) that changes every day, without keeping an identifier that is stable over time. This is pseudonymized and aggregate data, not a profile of the person. No data is shared with third parties.

3. Why we process the data and on what legal basis

• Responding to your requests sent through the contact form: legal basis, replying to a request of yours and pre-contractual measures (art. 6.1.b) or your consent (art. 6.1.a).
• Providing services to clients (websites, SEO, GEO): legal basis, performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b).
• Security and operation of the site: legal basis, our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and reliable (art. 6.1.f).
• Aggregate and pseudonymized visit statistics: legal basis, our legitimate interest in understanding how the sites perform and improving them (art. 6.1.f), processing only aggregate data not used to identify you.
• Legal obligations (tax and accounting requirements): legal basis, the legal obligation (art. 6.1.c).

4. How we process the data and for how long

Processing takes place with electronic tools and adequate security measures: the connection to the site is encrypted (HTTPS) and the private area is protected by personal access. We keep the data for as long as necessary for the purposes indicated above and, where applicable, for the period required by legal obligations (for example, tax documents for ten years). Contact messages are kept for the time useful to handle your request. Visit statistics, always in aggregate and pseudonymized form, are kept for at most about 13 months.

5. Who the data may be disclosed to

The data may be processed, on our behalf and as data processors, by trusted technical providers: the hosting provider (servers in the European Union) and the email service (Microsoft 365). We do not sell, transfer or disclose your data to third parties for their own purposes.

6. Transfer outside the European Union

The site's hosting is located in the European Union. The email service may involve processing outside the Union as well: in that case the transfer takes place in compliance with the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Your rights

You can at any time exercise the rights provided by articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR: access your data, request its rectification or erasure, the restriction of or objection to processing, portability, and withdraw a consent already given. To exercise them, write to info@joliestudio.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) (garanteprivacy.it).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to align it with regulatory or service changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the update date shown at the top.
